New flock owner

Greetings from Virginia. I’m just getting into owning chickens and joined because this seems like a good place to get a lot of useful info. I have a mixture of laying hens as well as a couple Polish chicks and Silkies. Thinking of trying my hand at breeding silkies so I’m sure I will have plenty of questions in the future.
