Hi and from Ohio. So glad you joined. The only problem with small bantams is that the will lay small eggs.

Bantams generally lay small eggs, so you may want to consider a smaller full-sized bird if you are looking for primarily an egg-layer.

Hello and welcome from Ohio....so glad you joined. I raise bantam cochins (all colors) and they lay a decent sized small brown egg. And in my opinion they are cute as can be to look at. I love them. Good luck finding your new chickens
