New Fluffballs Are Here!

I got 8 chickens five weeks ago when they were 4 weeks old. I didn't get to experience the little fluffball stage, but I wasn't too disappointed. I decided to get a rooster so I contacted the lady who sold me the first set of chicks. She was looking to order more as well so I got in with her order and got a salmon faverolle male and a buff orpington female. They were sent out June 1, but I just got out to pick them up from her today. They are way smaller than I expected! The boy is very talkative but he's happy and walking around the brooder. I'm thinking of naming him Arnold Schwarzenegger because he's such a little guy I find it ironic. I haven't decided on a name for the girl - it's between Apple and Ginger. I'll post pictures tomorrow when they are more settled!

I have 2 bo, one named ginger the other Mary Anne. (gilligans island). My husband named them! They are sweethearts!!!! Enjoy your babies!
