New Forum Category - New Sections - Some Spring Cleaning!

After receiving a bunch of feedback and suggestions and after a LOT of discussion between the staff, we've got some exciting changes!

1. A new forum Category called "Miscellaneous" (which may change names later): Miscellaneous
2. The addition of two new sub-forum sections: Gardening & DIY / Self Sufficiency
3. The relocation of the Hobbies & Other Pets & Livestock sub-forums under this new category (still in process)

While we are still very proud of and support our sister sites, TheEasyGarden.com & SufficientSelf.com, we've found that many members here would like to discuss these topics on BYC without having to sign up to another site.

Also, we felt that the Hobbies & Other Pets & Livestock sub-forums didn't fit as well into their previous parent categories, so they have a new home that is a more comfortable fit along side more similar neighbors.

Thanks for your support as we listen to your feedback and ideas and constantly make improvements BYC.

Oh, and if you notice any Gardening & DIY / Self Sufficiency topics that should be relocated to these new sections, simply click the report flag on the topics and request that they be moved.

Looks awesome! Would 'herbal' things such as herbal remidies go under DIY or Gardening?

Hmmm... now that's a great question!

I'd probably lean a bit toward DIY since the main goal / discussion would probably be the use and application vs. the actual growing process.
