I don't know about y'all, but, having chickens has helped me connect to many new people who I now consider friends. My family and I just finished a vacation on the Toccoa River in the North Georgia mountains. On our way home yesterday, we stopped by Speckledhen's place so that I could introduce everyone in my family to Cyn and Tom. We didn't intend to impose for long, but, we stayed nearly 1 1/2 hours, just visiting and talking about a variety of things. My boys and my wife were thrilled to finally meet Cynthia (as they have heard me talk about her frequently as I constantly seek her advise). In typical fashion, you cannot leave Cyn's house empty handed, we loaded up Lemon pound cake (and, NO, I won't share!!! LOL) and a carton of eggs for the 'bator. (Test hatch of Issac, Phoebe and Kiras Delaware eggs). In our hurried lives we often miss opportunities at friendship. As a result of "my chickens"....I feel truly blessed to have friends like Cyn and Tom. I hope you have met some wonderful people too!! Cyn/Tom.....THANKS!!!
