So, I asked this of another Upstate NY member: what do you consider Upstate?

For our area, we consider everything Upstate NY except the city and the metro area just outside it, Hudson Valley. Where a lot of arguments seem to break out is some folks misunderstanding that Upstate is broken down into 7 regions.
