When I saw the pictures I was like "OHHHH It's the one with Topaz and the other rock-ish named birds!" then I saw the captions :p
 
I would need to find someone local with them. I think I would prefer one of the 2 breeds my gp had. I remember watching them fly around the property. I have a brooder in the coop I could keep them in for the month or so to get the adjusted to "home".
 
I've got a buddy I found 2 pairs for. I'd never seen them before untill they got here. They are pretty. He actually has babies from them also and just got them this spring...

these ones r fertile and make it if so will be their first babies. the parents r recessive reds i believe is what color they r called. i haven't candled yet i'm affraid too so i will wait a few more days before i check so i know they should show for definate or not.

I have had my fantails for a year now and they will come toward me because they think or know I have food and I stand and talk too them but if I reach in the coop they go crazy. How do I get them tame enough so that I can hold them and pet them. Is there a certain way that I need too try and catch and hold them so as not too mess up their wings or tail feathers?
