Hello all, I am in my primary research phase of building my chicken coop and getting chickens. I have 5 acres and plan on starting with 5-8 chickens and go from there. Open to any and all advice. I have never owned chickens so be patient in my learning and crazy questions.

Thanks all. Acres, is a term used for lot size, I think that's what your asking. The acre is a unit of area used in the imperial and U.S. customary systems. An acre is about 40% of a hectare.
