Welcome to BYC!

And welcome back to chickens! They certainly are enjoyable, aren't they. What breed(s) are you considering?

Not sure if keeping chickens is a "profitable" hobby. My hubby claims our eggs cost $10 a doz. Ha! Not sure about that, but getting set up can be costly and take a while to recupe. But keeping chicken sure is enjoyable and well worth the costs as far as I am concerned.

Make yourself at home here and we do welcome you to our flock!

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to join our flock. Which part of Arkansas are you in? I was born in Hot Springs and still love that area. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck in getting your flock.
