Hi there!
I'm 33, from Adelaide in South Australia, and I'm a first time chicken owner since August 2021.
I currently have two almost-six-month old white Silkie hens (both laying the most delightful little eggs), and three seven week old Silkie chicks (two black, one paint, all still living in the house, suspecting two pullets and one cockerel).
I love my birds, they bring me such joy! I've gained much knowledge and advice from this website since getting my birds, so thought it was high time I made my own account.
Let's see... Aside from my sweet birds, my other great loves in life are tap dancing, reading and Japan! An eclectic mix of interests.
Thanks for having me and for the advice I've already gleaned - hope I'm now able to share some of my own knowledge and experience!
