Hi! My name is Michelle and just recently got to Rhode Island Reds. I grew up in AZ with a father who grew up on a dairy farm in upstate NY. In addition to my dad having a garden every year I used to complain about having to help with, we also had horses, sheep and chickens. Now, I'm living in the suburbs & going back to the basics with a small garden and only two chickens, one is laying and the others not. Hopefully, it's not a rooster, because I'd have to find a new home if that was the case. So for now, I'm enjoying having fresh eggs & great fertilizer for my composter.
