I love this website and forum, I have no idea what took me this long to finally register!
I had my husband build a chicken coop and run out of a little tikes playhouse we bought off of craigslist back last August. We currently have 5 chickens that we bought from the local feed store, and 2 Bourbon Red turkeys that we will be dinner in the next month or two. We bought them too late to have them for Thanksgiving or Christmas, so they get to live just a bit longer. We live an hour south of Tucson, and 15 minutes north of Mexico. I might have just ordered 15 more chicks to be delivered at the end of this month since the weather is starting to warm up a bit here and I'm getting chick fever. Ha! Now we just need to figure out how to add on a little to our current coop over the next month or so.
