New - from Baton Rouge, LA

Hi. Surprised not more Louisianans have replied to you. I'm very new to this, but if I can help drop me a message. I'm just outside of Baton Rouge (Central). I have some Corturnix (Pharaoh) quail. Just hatched out my first batch about a month ago. Started with 7 bittys last September. They started laying eggs at about 8 to 10 weeks old and now they are laying between 4 and 6 nice eggs a day. It's been kinda addictive. Thinking about adding a few chickens, pheasants, and maybe a goose or two. We'll see how it goes. Good luck!
