Hi, my name is Christina and I just started farm living 4 months ago when I moved to my boyfriend's family farm! I find myself looking up questions i have, and almost every search lands me at backyard chickens, so I finally decided that I should join! I am a big time animal lover and always wanna do whatever I can to provide the best quality of life for my feathered and furry friends! We currently have
-4 Adult Ducks (1 pekin, 1 Mallard, 2 Swedish blue/indian runner mix)
-8 Ducklings (as far as we can tell, each mama got some eggs in the clutch..pekins, mallards, swedish blue, runners)
-1 Barred Rock Rooster (quite aggressive)
-3 Araucana Hens
-2 Rhode Island Red Hens
-15 Chicks (6 Maran, 4 Silver laced Wyandotte, 3 Leghorn, 2 Welsummer)
I look forward to being a part of BYC, and am excited to learn many new tips and tricks!
