I just joined yesterday and have not intoduced myself. I live in Phelan CA. I raise mostly chickens and turkeys. I have had poultry since I was 4 years old. I had my bottom beat for teaching my chickens how to sit on eggs. I love all animals and have my share of pets. I have RA so I can't care for the larger livestock anymore. Poultry is more manageable for me. I have my incubators compleatly full of turkey eggs. My brooder are also full. I had to buy two more incubators this week. I hate seeing the eggs go to waste. Next week I am getting some geese from Metzer. I have a order in from Holderread for ducks and geese but I do not have a date or confirmation at this point so I am crossing my figures I here something soon. I am building a new turkey pen conected to my barn. I hope to get most of it done this weekend if the darn wind will stop blowing. My husband and I are not handy but we are giving it a shot anyways. I am a Oma to one Grandson. All of my kids live at home and I love it that way.
