Hello, I am a new member and have had backyard chickens for six years now. They all have had names and I have loved each and every one of them (and their delicious eggs!) and enjoy spending time with our flock. Our coop, run, and attached protected free-range area we built mostly from recycled and repurposed materials. We currently have eight hens ranging from 2 to 6 1/2 years and soon hope to be adding another half-dozen pullets to our family. Happy to be here!
