New to the forum and new to the world of chickens. Hoping to get a few chickens this spring. I'm also hoping to fix up an old chicken coop that has been on our property for years (we've been using it for storage). So all of you coop expert head on over to my other posts and let me know if this thing is salvageable. It would be greatly appreciated.

Greetings! I too am new to the world of chickens and with any luck will be either building a new coop or renovating an existing structure this summer as well. If you've been a lurker around here (as many of us were before registering!) you know there are lots of wonderful folks around here with lots of knowledge. A Godsend to those of us just starting out. Good luck with your coop and chickens and

I both was and am. To quote the new commandant;

"A Marine is a Marine. I set that policy two weeks ago - there's no such thing as a former Marine. You're a Marine, just in a different uniform and you're in a different phase of your life. But you'll always be a Marine because you went to Parris Island, San Diego or the hills of Quantico. There's no such thing as a former Marine."

Commandant of the Marine Corps, General James F. Amos

I'm humbled to accept your thanks.
