new from colorado

Hoping I read all the legal junk on having chickens in Loveland right. There are 6 sweet little chickies in my sewing room getting ready for a backyard coop in another 6 weeks or so.
2 of my favorite the Black Austrolorp, 2 California white, and 2 easter eggers just for fun.
From what I have been reading they limit the coop and run size here to 120 sq feet in total. Not much room for 6 chickens in my opinion.
I am going to make the run larger and if anyone complains I guess they can look at a privacy fence instead of all my flowers and a few chickens.
Glad hubby let me get them.

You're smart, brown, white, and blue eggs all in your flock. I started with all brown egg layers and had to add from there. Of course I couldn't get rid of my old hens so...Welcome to chicken math. Bigger is always better if possible, lol.

If you don't like your ordinances (regarding the coop & run, etc.) you could try to get them changed...
