(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? I had some chickens growing up in the country, but they were just for eggs. I didn't interact with them much other then gathering eggs.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? We will be getting 6 Thursday, June 4
(3) What breeds do you have? Looking to get 3 Buff Orpingtons and 3 Ameraucanas.
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com? Found this site while researching the idea of chickens in the backyard, and trying to talk the hubby into the idea.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Gardening, reading, computer game, cooking
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. There's me, Tammy, and my husband Robert, 2 kids, Gaby -14 years and Liam 4 1/2 years. We have a inside cat, a Quaker parrot and some fish. I'm a stay at home mom and Robert is an Environmental Scientist. We live in Dallas Texas
