Howdy, I'm new to this as well. We're practically neighbors (I'm in Mountlake Terrace). We picked up 6 chickens, so we're technically breaking the law (limit of 3). Oh well.

thanks for all the welcomes! We have a limit of 3, as well... but we got one insurance chick for good measure. I sure hope we don't hear any cock-a-doodle-doing one of these days because I'd be sad to part with any of them! It's funny, the dynamics, we started with 3, and one seemed to be a bully, then a week later got the insurance chick, and the bully calmed down and everyone is happy now.
