Hi, we are originally from Georgia but lived in Florida for over 30 years. We were fortunate enough to be able to move back to Georgia (the NE mountains), and love it. We will be getting 2 Plymouth Rock chickens on Monday and a couple more later, so we are getting ready for them now. We bought an old house and it had a small chicken coop attached to the back of the smokehouse. I don't really know much about having chickens but am looking forward to the experience. My family right now in Georgia, consists of myself, my mother, and my husband. My mother was raised on a farm so she will be a big help. I have always been a small town country girl at heart and my husband loves the country too. We live very close to town but it feels like we are in the country.We have 2 children and 7 grandchildren that live in Florida and hope that one day they will live here too. I may ask a lot of dumb questions but am certainly willing to learn. Looking forward to learning so much from all of you.
