Hello everyone! I was refered to BYC by a good friend who has been a member of this site. I have ALWAYS wanted chickens, and I am finally getting to the point in my life where I can have them! My fiance and I are moving into our first home this February and I would like to have my first flock of chickens this year. WooHoo! I'm not sure what else to tell you, so I copy and pasted the sample questions =]
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
- Very new! I actually have NO idea where to start!
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
- None, but we are thinking about starting off with 6
(3) What breeds do you have?

- My wonderful friend sent me =]
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
- I love spending time with our dog, gardening, reading, and dancing. I don't have much time to do anything else between work and school, unfortunately.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
- We have a medium sized German Shepherd mix (the friendliest dog in the entire world), and two cats that are both inside. I currently have 3 jobs: waitress, housekeeper, and I am a work study student for the School of Dental Education at my university. I am going to school for Dental Hygiene, and have just completed my first semester of the program, two more to go!! Woohoo! =]
