Hello everyone. First time poster, first time chicken owner. I've got 7 ISA browns. They are 4-1/2 weeks old. Getting excited about letting them in their new coop. Do I leave them in the coop/run for "x" amount of days to let them get used to it? Any opinions/help is greatly appreciated from experienced chicken peps. Thanks Jason

Hi and welcome to BYC from northern Michigan

If you leave them inside the coop for 4-5 days they will automatically go back in to eat, drink and roost.

Jump right into it, the chickens will get used to being in the coop after a while. Although if you let them out into the run you might have to coax them back in at night before they start to develop a habit.
