Glad you joined BYC! Are your current chicks still in a temporary brooder? If so, if you get a replacement chick (two would be better), move your current chicks into a New temporary brooder the same time as you add the replacement chick(s). That way all the chicks will be a bit disoriented in their new surroundings, and not just the replacement chick.

Chicks are outside in enclosed run. They are already going to coop at night on their own

Good job using hardware cloth and putting the coop inside the run for double protection.
