Hi, my name is Bobbi and I live in northcentral Maryland. I love chickens obviously. Right now my favorite breed are the Orpingtons, and specifically, the English Orps, but I've recently acquired a few Silkies because I just fell in love with them. I look forward to learning lots of good stuff here and expect I will be spending lots of time reading through all the posts that are here.

Anyone going to Chicken Nationals? I went a few years ago and was amazed at all the different types of poultry. I would love to go again, but not sure if I'll make it this year.

Thanks, all! As I suspected, so far I've been bouncing around reading through different topics. I suspect that will keep me busy for a while. I'm sure I'll be posting here and there as questions occur to me. I appreciate the Welcomes! Very kind. )

Thank you! Yep, there's nothing quite so funny as watching an Orpington run. I have a chair in my chicken pen for me to sit on to "commune" with my chickens. I find watching my chickens as calming as watching fish in an aquarium.
