Hello all! I just placed my first chick order ever! Only four chickens... And I'm going to look for a Silkie at a later date. I'm hoping to learn all I can before they arrive April 21st! I'm so excited.

When it comes time to add more chickens to your flock, read up on integration. And before you integrate new birds, don't forget to isolate the new ones for 30 days to avoid bringing in an illness or pests to your existing flock.
