Hi everyone! I'm new to the chicken world, but very happy to now be a part of it. 
Last week built a decent size coop and purchased and Barred Rock hen (she lays us eggs daily) and 3 crosses between new hamshire and rhode island reds that are 2 months old. This past Tues I purchased 2 black sex-links and 2 silver laced wyndotte pullets. Then weds I purchased 6 more chicks which include 2 rhode island red pullets, 2 what they called featured chicks straight runs, and two assorted bantams (which are considerably smaller than the other chicks) Unfortunately, just yesterday I lost one of the bantams. I still have my hands full with 9 chicks though 
Now if I can just get over driving myself crazy wanting to know what breeds I have. lol
I'm excited to lern more about my chickens and look forward to getting to know some of you. Hope you have a great day!
