So now that I've become a first time stay at home mom! I'm finally getting closer to having my full farm I've always wanted! I'm driving my husband nuts! Thank goodness for my dad! We had this old Pepsi container on our property when we bought it! Now this weekend it will be transformed by my dad and I into my dream coop-shed ever! My chicks are sure to love it I have 14 right now that are waiting for their new home!! This is my first time so I'm crossing my fingers and a little nervous! Will post pictures after it's all done this weekend! I can't wait to meet all my chicken lovers :-)

Check out the coops section, people have made coops out of just about everything, old buses, large appliance pack crates. Mainly it needs to be draft free with sufficient ventilation generally around the top.
Chickens really like windows - to let in light, and just for looking out. Protect them with 1/2" hardware cloth so that predators can't use them to get inside.

Take photos along the way and you can add your coop to the others.

Thank you! Everything helps! Right now I've got 14 chicks 9 hens and 5 Cornish cross, any advice on a good rooster?

Yes, you can house chickens in many things as long as they are safe from predators. As for keeping Guineas with Chickens, you can keep them together. Just make sure everybody gets along.

Protection, or If you plan on breeding/ hatching out chicks you may want to go with a rooster that is the same breed as your hens so you have purebreds, or compliments them if you are looking for egg layers or duel purpose birds etc.
