I just realized I didn't stop by here to say "hi" first...
I'm in Moroe, wa.
My wife and I have 8 kids - ages 2 to 17. 5 adopted. Big beautiful fun family!
We homeschool all of them.
Our little backyard farm consists of:
Veggie garden
2 milk goats
8 laying hens
A bunch of new spring chicks in the brooder
Quail (coturnix) - just starting out with 5 chicks and plan to have a decent breeding operation going soon
5 new ducklings this year
A new batch of turkey poults heading for the Thanksgiving table
Pigs - raise a few weiner pigs up each year for pork
Rabbits
We raise most of these farm animals to provide some food (eggs or meat) for the family table. We raise a few extras to sell to friends and family and co-workers interested in locally grown food.
We also have a big white dog, tortoises, lizards, box turtles, and other critters here and there...
