Glad to hear the video helped. It helped me a lot too. Now I can give her the giant pill without any trouble or worry. Funny how the guy's gentle attitude sets the tone for how to approach the task. Half the battle is the gentleness of it.Thanks for the video!! I was having issues with an egg bound hen several months ago and tried to give my hen a tums. It did not go well.
Thankfully, an epsom salt bath helped. I was just running the water to fill her bath bucket for a second one (a few hours after id dried her from the first one) and she finally laid her egg.You would've thought it was solid gold, from the amount of 'singing' that followed, but I'm sure she was just relieved to be feeling better!
