Hello, I am new to this board. I am a mother of 3 girls and live in Orangevale, Ca a suburb of Sacramento. We decided to get some chickens in February. My daughters have enjoyed them a lot, even the one that was supposed to be a hen but is a rooster. We are not allowed Roosters so we are trying to find a home. The hens are now 4 months old and we are looking forward to when the hens start laying eggs.
