1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? I am kinda new. We had a few. Fox ate them
so we went several years with none. We have had chickens for about a year now.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?17
(3) What breeds do you have?Easter egger Mamas (5), Americanas(4), Wyandottes(4), Cinnamon queens(4).
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? I enjoy the eggs of course, but I enjoy watching them interact with me.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? I enjoy gardening, mowing the lawn, crocheting and I am a televisionaholic.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. I am a homeschooling mom of five kids and ten grandchildren. My youngest 2 adopted boys are 16&10. They are the only 2 left in the house. My husband and I have been married 26 years. We live in a tiny house in NC.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I found BYC through google because I was searching for all the information I could find since deciding to get serious about chickens. I have been reading all the posts incognito of course.
