New from NC

Hi everyone! I am a newbie and having a great time learning from everyone here! My husband and I live on one acre in rural North Carolina with our 2 1/2 year old DD Riley, three dogs, our beagle, Laney, our Jack Russel, Jack and our little yorkie-poo Paddington, three cats, Lex, SB and Chloe, 2 rabbits, Rintu and Kailan and now four chickens, Annie, Red, Ming-Ming and Tuck. We have another human child coming any day, so it is a busy household to say the least!!!

We have slowly been working towards a self sustaining lifestyle and hope to continue to do so as our family grows. I dream of living on a farm one day, but my husband is employed by a tech company in Raleigh, NC and is a total tech geek, so I doubt we will ever do the farm life. A girl can dream...
