new from NE Tn

Hi. As my user name says I am a chikymamawanabe. I probably won't get any chicks til next year. I plan to spend that time learning and saving up for the materials for a nice coop.

This is the coop my husband and I agreed on. We live in a subdivision and are not sure what the neighbors would think about chickens. My husband wasn't crazy about the idea til went to TS and looked at the baby chicks an he saw this coop.

so... I think I changed my mind for the coop of my dreams. I love the one on the coops chicken tractors page submitted by jarhead. The thing I'm wondering is about having a run that could be moved around the yard every day or two. My husband said if it's easy enough to move it won't protect the chickens well enough. What do ya'll think?
