(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?

Yes. I grew up in a city seeing chickens on TV or in picture books only. One of the teachers at my daughter's school got 8, so I got curious and did some research. Bought 4 pullets of Craigslist this summer. So happy!

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?

4 happy hens :) free range

(3) What breeds do you have?

3 Buffs and 1 NH Red

(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?

Did some research before deciding on getting chicks. The most valuable resource so far :)

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?

Gardening, sewing, audiobooks... also Ipone addicted ))

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.

We are a family of 5 + black German Shepherd, two Abyssininan cats and now 4 Chickens (Milly, Kiki, Froska and Murka)

1) I'm not that new to chickens but I'm not a veteran chicken keeper, I've had them for 1 year and a half.

2) I currently have 46 chickens.

3) Mutts, Pekins, and 1 frizzle.

4) I was looking for a site that could tell me what breed my first Pekin was.

5) Playing with my 2 dogs Gypsy and Roxy and watching the chickens roam. During school vacation I like to dapple in writing.

6) I'm a highschool student living with my parents, 2 dogs (a rottweiler and a lab) some ducks, a turkey, 2 horses, 2 goats, and a big flock of chickens!
