Hello everyone,
I'm very happy to be a member here at long last. I come from the South Island of New Zealand in a small(ish) town. I'm interested in urban homesteading in all of it's aspects, including forest gardening and of course everything chicken. I currently have 5 hens and one rooster up and coming, as well as some young chicks growing and also some hatching right now! I'm on the learning curve of urban chicken breeding with all its rewards and challenges. I love the mottled bantam Wyandottes and so the current project is to get this colour going as there are none available in my area.
