Don't have chickens of my own yet, but I've designed and am starting to build my rolling coop and tractor. I have enough materials to do two coops/tractors so I may make another one and dedicate it to meat chickens. My dh of 22 years and I recently moved to the small farm where I grew up and "inherited" a flock of 24 free roaming chickens that dogs, coyotes, foxes and maybe even the resident cougar pared down to two- a very mean Leghorn rooster and an older sweet RIR hen. They're going in my stew pot this weekend if we can get the rooster out of the tree he roosts in.
My husband works at an electronics company and I'm a sahm to our three cats and also babysit my 4yo great-niece. I also turn junk into treasures and make jellies, jams, soaps, and baked goods that I sell.
