As my name suggests we don't have chickens yet.

We were very excited when we learned that our rural city was going to allow us to have chickens. We found out a month later that they changed the law, and it now excludes us from having chickens. We then looked at our county as an option but found out you have to have 5 acres to have chickens!

So, it may a few years before we move, but I hope to learn a lot about laws and how to care for chickens in general, in the meantime.

I do so very much hope that you are able to have chickens at some stage, sooner rather than later.

I also hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun.
