Hello! I'm Amanda From Ohio. Very new to chickens but also loving it.
Here to learn and grow!
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
My husband and I have had some chickens for a few months now, and are still in the learning process
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
3 Hens and about 15 chicks
(3) What breeds do you have?
Polish, Easter Eggers, Rhode Island, and some Brahamas
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
So far watching the chicks grow and watching the children love on them.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
We are avid DIYers, and rennovating a school bus, I'm super nerdy.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
we have 7 kids between the two of us, 3 dogs 2 ducks and about 20 chickens now,.
He is in concrete and I do accounting and run a small t-shirt business on the side.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I've known about it for about a month, and most of my chicken related searches all the answers come up as threads on google.
