new from oregon!

Hello everyone just joined from Oregon! Have a mixed flock for eggs and chicks. Have red sex links, barred rocks, assorted others like cream legbars, Easter eggers, and a few Ayam cemani. Have a couple of Shiba inus, a cat , a parrot and a Sun conure.

Hello there, and welcome to Backyard Chickens! Wow, Cemanis and Cream Legbars, those are some nice, rare breeds right there! I hope you enjoy your time here on BYC!!

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. The egg basket is colorful. The cream legbars are my project. This year is the search for the replacement rooster as Bruce my main cream legbar rooster is aging. I have 9 cockerels from April growing out. Have them tagged and trying to make the decision to cut down to two. The cemanis are my SO project . I think they are beautiful but we have had more difficulties with the chicks being slow and fragile growers. My Shibas-- one ignores all of the chickens and the other one would like to eat them all or alternatively rule them.
