I will drive over there tomorrow to have a look see. My coop is kind of weedie, so I need to weedwhack a path to the feeders and laying boxes that were left on the property when we bought it.

Lol welcome from lacombe. As far as I know no ordinance against chickens. Not to say if someone complains they won't make you get rid of them it is slidell. Usually if you can't find anything it's a good sign. You're in city limits?

Sorry to be so long getting back. I just got 1/2 of my son's flock from FL, 24 hens and 1 rooster. I have had them a week today and already have 7 dozen! Blue, Green and Orange eggs.

They love being free range for the last 3 days.

I am just out of Lacombe village limits, between Bantings and Star motel on the northside of the 190.

I just got 25 chickens a week ago. Sorry to have been away so long, I had 2 deaths in the family in RI and I had to go up there to settle estates and clear out a 4 br/2bth house with a full basement and out buildings. Being disabled, it took me almost 2 months.
