In the Brooder
Hello everyone!
I'm Georgie, fairly new to chickens had them on and off for a year now, I had always had Isa browns since recently, since a feral cat to my 6 hens a few months ago
I purchased two light sussex X silver laced wyandotte roosters for my dogs food but fell in love with the biggest boy now named Mr Muffin, a month later (about a week ago) purchased 5 Australorp cockerels for more dog food, obviously fell in love with one of them, I call him greeny because he has a green leg band, he's very friendly already and loves pets and cuddles
A few days later I decided to get some Australorp hens for my two roos, I got two hens one is broody with 7, week old chicks, they are so cute! and the hens are so friendly, mums a bit protective but I know shell be a sweety once shes no longer broody.
And today I purchased 4, day old chicks, two silkies and two pekin bantams!
Does anyone know what colour my silkie chicks will be when there all grown up? pictures are below
Along with my chooks, I own a beautiful raw fed Whippet puppy and in 7 weeks, will be welcoming another whippet pup!
I also own a 1 year old domestic medium haired cat, a 2 year old rat and a breeding colony of mice!
Now for the pictures!
