(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I have been keeping chickens for the past 2 to 3 years.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I currently have 18.
(3) What breeds do you have?
Polish, Silkies, Booted Bantams, Frizzled Cochins, and Naked Necks.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Just being able to take pride in my unique birds, and raise great family backyard pets. But the eggs are a bonus!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Spending time outdoors, attempting to train our new Aussie pup, and some diy projects.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I am married with 2 daughters. We share our home with 3 dogs, 3 cats, and 3 rabbits. We have a busy little household. I am a current stay at home mom.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I have been lurking on here some after finding it during a Google search, I finally decided to join! I look forward to the chicken chat!
