Having lurked on the site for a while, I thought I'd say hi. I am in the Roanoke area, out a ways. We have four 3 year old guineas and 7 chickens. The roo is a Welsummer and the 6 pullets are 3 different types of sexlinks. We've also got 2 German shepherds and some elderly (as in 17 years) Papillons and an incredibly spoiled Siamese house kitty.

I just got the Octagon 20 eco incubator I ordered today. As I have some guinea eggs to practice with, I am going to start collecting to do a 1st hatch.

Hi Shelli, thanks for the welcome! I don't know of anyone who might want a roo off hand, but there is a swap this Saturday up in Riner. The ad is on Craigslist - PM me if you want the info. I think I might get in the car and take a ride up to see what they have.
