hello there everyone, new to this site (just hatched yesterday xD) and recent owner of some chickens, 5 lavender pekin bantums, 2 silkies and 2 buff pekin bantums one of the silkies is only 5-6 weeks old while the other is a year old, and the baby one is mine and she's lovely (the one in my avatar)

Sounds like you will be kept quite busy with your chickens! This site will definitely be useful for you. I'm still pretty new and I have found so much advice/help. It's been great.

If I recall correctly, "Peking" is another name for what us Americans call "Cochins," which is one of my most favorite breeds. Orpingtons are next on my favorites list. Just love those fluffy butt chickens!
