new from West Virginia

i m from wv myself. i understand. i used to run wild and barefoot thru the woods. we had all manner of chickens, ducks, geese, rabbits, goats, cows, pigs, ponys, horses, cats, and dogs. i went back to look at my old homeplace and they let the barn fall in, and they cut down all the old apple trees. it was the saddest thing i've ever seen. i live in town now and have sneeked a few of my chikin friends into my backyard. they remind me of good times.

I live in KY, but I have family from WV. My mother was from the state. I try to get back there every year when I can. It is a wonderful state. It reminds me of my grandfathers place.
