Hi all, here’s my introduction!
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
New to chickens, and actually (sadly) may never own them unless we move due to where I live and the town’s ordinances. That’s actually why I’m here, looking for info on how to try to persuade the town to change its ordinances. I’ll be posting in the chicken laws section soon! I’ve loved chickens since I was a teen, and my husband and I are dying to own our own small flock. He even wanted to just do it anyway (rumor is that others in town have hens despite the law) but I don’t want to risk it.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? Sadly- 0
(3) What breeds do you have?

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Music- I play guitar, hubby plays drums and guitar, 8 year old son is on drums now and the other two kids will likely follow! Also, drag racing, I raced an 8 second mustang for years, and husband took over after we had kids. Although that is changing due to our local track just announcing they are closing.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
We have 3 kids, youngest is a baby, 2 older dogs, tropical fish. I’m in accounting and work for a university.
