For my birthday my mom bought me a pair of toulouse geese and a pair of runner ducks! They arrived two days ago and I am already in love with them- the little girl goose especially. My daughter named her Luna, after Luna Lovegood and it's a perfect name for her. (My husband is pushing that we name the male "Latrec" or "Henri" after the artist.. I figure that must be common.)
The four are in a tupperware together, with towels on the floor and a chicken waterer in a heavy pie pan so that they can drink but not bathe. They are eating unmedicated crumbles and I've been chopping lettuce, apples and grass into very small bits for them this evening. They have a heat lamp; everyone seems content. Now, if I could just stop "checking" on them, we might all get some rest. They are in the mud room with my daughter's 4 banties and my 4 unexpected early hatchers from our broody hens- all in their own boxes, but able to hear and sometimes see each other.

I'm surprised to find very few webpages talking about appropriate food for this age, as they seem ravenous. Most of my searches return "help, I found a wild goose/ duck" sorts of information.

Wow lucky you, what a great birthday present!

With the water they need to be able to get their heads in really so that they can immerse their eyes and nostrils!
The food you're giving them sounds fine, I usually mix the crumbs with water for them.
They will also love a little scrambled egg and it is a good source of protein for them.
Be prepared to be cleaning that tupperware out.......often.........very often! LOL

First off, congratulations!

Second, unmedicated crumbles for chicks are OK for goslings of the same labeled age.
If you can find a waterfowl (or flock raiser) food at your feed/pet store, those always work well too.
