New girl in BYC town

Hello, I've been perusing the BYC site for a few months, in preparation of building a chicken coop myself. We previously had one for around 6 years that we thought was fortified enough, but we lost all our chickens within one week of concentrated coyote and/or fox attacks. I wasn't willing to go through that heartbreak again, and intend to build a well-thought out fortress for my future chickens.

I'm so glad to have this site, because I like what I'm seeing. I hope to begin "breaking ground" on a Pemberley Coop soon.
