Hi :)

I have raised a lot of different types of animals. Just hatched some button quail, which we plan to raise in the greenhouse we are nearly finished building. I also have nine kids, and am a novelist and poet. In other words I do a lot of random stuff :) I look forward to lewrning more about these wonderful little birds.

btw, anyone feel like guessing some colors for me, and possibly sexing my older one (my first attemp at hatching buttons in an incubator....only got one, tried again & did better. Hatched out seven from 20, shipped eggs. Two were too little, though, and only lived a few days.)

I've never seen baby quail - how cute. I think your quail questions would best be answered at the "Quail thread." Just put that in the search box and it will come up for you.

Hello there, and welcome to Backyard Chickens! So glad you could join our flock! I recently met quail for the first time at a fair, they sure were cuties! But not extremely friendly. I hope you enjoy your quail, and BYC!
